Between 1891 and 1894, the noted English horticulturist John Wright published The Fruit Grower’s Guide. The Fruit Grower’s Guide aimed to be a practical reference work of all fruit varieties grown in England. It also became renowned for the dozens of chromolithographs created by Miss May Rivers. These chromolithographs become noted for both their scientific accuracy and their beauty.
